Our Durham Organics Processing Facilities

Through a long-term partnership with the City of Durham, Circular Services operates two advanced composting facilities that transform yard waste, food scraps, and biosolids into STA-Certified compost. Together, the sites can process up to 65,000 tons of material each year, turning what was once discarded into a valuable resource for local businesses and communities. With this infrastructure in place, Durham is building a comprehensive organics program that keeps more waste out of landfills and puts high-quality compost back to work in the region.
