Our Operations in Charlotte, NC

Circular Services is proud to serve Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, as the selected operator of two key Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) supporting the region’s recycling infrastructure. We currently operate the 48,510-square-foot MRF on Pence Road, which processes over 6,000 tons of single-stream recyclables each month and is equipped with a state-of-the-art BHS system optimized for flexible material recovery. Once the County completes a major retrofit of its flagship Metrolina MRF on Amble Drive, Circular Services will transition single-stream operations to that facility and repurpose the Pence Road site as a construction and demolition (C&D) recycling hub.

Located just steps from the County’s Hickory Grove Recycling Center, our operations are strategically positioned to serve both residential and commercial recycling needs. Our team is dedicated to advancing material recovery and building a more circular local economy.
